Built in 1949 as a cinema, The Crown Harriston is a historic gem with many original art-deco features. It has served as a church and endured the effects of time. Now, it’s alive again and buzzing as a Cultural Centre since 2016, offering a unique blend of history and modernity!

The Crown Harriston provides phenomenal acoustics thanks to the baffled walls and ceiling.
The auditorium has 200 vintage seats and a three-tier stage, with a total surface of 16 by 24 feet.
The stage gives access to the backstage area and a small dressing room.

Equipped with a modern movie projector, a vintage wall screen, and an up-to-date sound system, The Crown Harriston leaves no stone unturned in providing a complete entertainment package.
The various overhead and stage lights enhance the mood, ensuring a memorable experience for all.

The Magic Ice Cream Shoppe is attached, which provides a wide range of snacks, drinks, and ice cream treats. We are now licensed, making the venue even more appealing for a wide range of happenings and events.
