In 1984, the Toronto International Film Festival ranked Nobody Waved Good-bye number 9 on their list of the top 10 Canadian feature films of all time. To this day, watching Nobody Waved Good-bye is a treat. The story of youth in revolt is universal, and it is treated in a realistic, caring way. It tells the story of a teenage boy who rebels against his parents' middle-class goals and conventions. Don Owen 1964 | 80 min

In this monster classic Lon Chaney Jr. embodies Larry Talbot, who returns to Wales when his brother dies and reconciles with his father (Claude Rains). While there, he visits an antique shop and, hoping to impress the attractive shopkeeper Gwen (Evelyn Ankers), buys a silver walking cane and succeeds. That same night he kills a wolf with it, only to later learn that he actually killed a man (Bela Lugosi). Tortured by his action, a gypsy (Maria Ouspenskaya) explains that it was her son, a werewolf, that he killed, and that Larry is now one himself.
